I do commissions in Various sizes. I paint just about anything from a Loved one, to a Beautiful landscape scene. I paint mainly with a mixed media approach with Acrylics and finishing in Oils. 

For the best results possible, I will need good quality photos.

Photos that are in full shadow or full sun with no shadows; don’t offer the best results as they don’t offer enough contrast for a defined face. 

Please have your photo with the person/ people posed in a way that you want in the painting. 

If you are local I would be more than happy to take the photos myself, and let you choose the best one with me. Posed or even candid can work for a great painting. 

Please note, I’m not a hyper realistic painter. If you choose me, it is because you like my style. The painting will be my best representation. I can send you references of previous works and the photos I used. 

I require a 40% deposit and the rest upon completion. The time frame all depends on how many paintings are ahead of you; as well as the size and time it will take for yours. I book large commissions up to 6 months in advance of holidays. Sometimes I can squeeze one in faster, so don’t be afraid to ask!

Once I have received your deposit I will start on a rough sketch. 

This is the time for you to be honest and speak up if you don’t like the layout. 

I aim to create something that you will cherish! So please tell me all your colors and ideas you have in mind to make this painting exactly the way you want it. Above all else I want you to be happy with your decision.

We can discuss details over the phone or in person if you are local. I will do everything I can to ensure you are happy with your painting. 

However the deposit is to cover my time and materials if someone changes their mind, or doesn’t follow thru with payment. (one must protect themselves.)

When it is all finished it will be sealed with archival quality varnish to protect your painting from yellowing or fading. If you are local you may come pick up from my studio, or I can deliver to you. (Currently studio based in Meridian Idaho.)

For those of you from out of town, I will make sure it is securely wrapped and mailed with tracking. Shipping you will pay for. We can discuss shipping options. 

Other sizes are also available upon request, Canvas’s are Gallery wrapped they have a depth of about an inch and a half.
